Blur the Background. 

The middle cluster of the trees leaves are what is being focused on, so the background building is to of no importance to the tree.

First Portrait Assignment.

Being new to the whole photographer business, i felt as if i did a good job in following Henri Cartier-Bresson's advice. I feel as if the subject felt more herself with me, not acknowledging the camera. You can tell because she was laughing and smiling as if we were having a friendly conversation, but through the lens of the camera. 

My First Photo Outing-Principles of Design.

Principles of Design: Emphasis.
On my groups first outing, this, of many that I personally shot, was my overall favorite picture. Its representation of emphasis is clear. The way the leaves from the plant surround this blue pop-tart bag really make the blue stand out-making it easy to be seen. So beautiful, the way you see that naturally-made green from the leaves in the background with a man-made blue wrapper in the middle.
