Final Exam Period 5 Photo 1 (No Seniors).

1. The famous photographer who stormed Normandy with the soldiers during WWII was Robert Capa. Only 11 photos survived. After the war, this photographer created the Magnum agency in 1947. The founders were Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger and David "Chim" Seymour.
2. Photo to Edit:
Portrait of a Dog as an Artist.

3. Favorite Photo:
This is my favorite photo because:
1. Mr. Farley's face looks silly, making the overall mood of the picture.
2. With the use of f2.2, the background is all blurred out due to the camera focusing only on Mr. Farley.
3. There is no need to edit the picture, it's original version is perfect.

4. Best Photo:
This is my best photo because:
1. It shows the composition rule of depth.
2. The picture is shot at f22, meaning everything is in focused.
3. The clear blue sky contrast the orange roof top, making the school itself sort of "Pop!"
5. Link to My Weebly.
6. Three benefits to working in groups are:
     1) You can get help when you need it.
     2) When you miss school, they help you to know what you missed and what you meed to do to make up for it.
     3) It's a great experience to make new friends and work with each other, because in most classes you work very independently.
7. Three disadvantages to working in groups could be:
     1) Group members don't get along.
     2) Group members do not cooperate with each other as they should.
     3) One member of the group is left to do all the work so that the rest can "chill."
9. Today, i was not on time, i was about 5 minutes late.
13. My favorite song by Taylor Swift is "I Knew You Were Trouble".

Best Photos.

I consider this to be one of my best photos because
1. The camera is focused just on the yellow play camera and the duck.
2. The yellow color stands out compared to the gray and brown.
3. I used blur the background.
I consider this to be one of my best photos because
1. I captured her hair blowing in the wind and it's clear to see that.
2. I used blur the background.
3. Anna is smiling.
I consider this to be one of my best photos because
1. Nothing is left to stand out on its own.
2. This picture resembles depth.
3. Everything is in focus.

Favorite Photos.

This is my favorite photo that i took because it just seems so silly. Daniela didn't know that i was taking a picture of her, so she was really being herself. Shows a good time with the group.
This is my favorite photo because Lauren is laughing and having a good time and it just makes the picture that much better. Most people are so shy when it comes to taking self portraits, but she is really out there, showing that she's outgoing and that is why this photo is one of my favorites.
This is one of my all-time favorite photos. I always tend to use Anneliz as one of my models, but this day she looked so elegant and like an Egyptian Goddess. Just before i took this she was laughing, but this is when her smile was starting to frown down, such perfect timing, and just a wonderful picture. Great angle and great quality.

One Photo Composition Rule.

Blur the Background.
The middle cluster of the trees leaves are what is being focused on, so the background building is to of no importance to the tree.

First Portrait Assignment.

Being new to the whole photographer business, i felt as if i did a good job in following Henri Cartier-Bresson's advice. I feel as if the subject felt more herself with me, not acknowledging the camera. You can tell because she was laughing and smiling as if we were having a friendly conversation, but through the lens of the camera.

My First Photo Outing-Principles of Design.

Principles of Design: Emphasis.
On my groups first outing, this, of many that I personally shot, was my overall favorite picture. Its representation of emphasis is clear. The way the leaves from the plant surround this blue pop-tart bag really make the blue stand out-making it easy to be seen. So beautiful, the way you see that naturally-made green from the leaves in the background with a man-made blue wrapper in the middle.

Principles of Design: Emphasis.
The green cover stands out from the brown benches that it is laid upon and surrounded by.
